Hi, I came across this site and had to say something. As a person who grew up in this area, I would never ever rent one of these places. I know a person that lives there and I visited once, and I can honestly say it felt about as safe as what it felt back then. IT'S NOT SAFE AT ALL. The security guards could care less because they come from the same area, so they don't really feel threatened and take everything laxly. Even before these were lofts, it was a high school. And back then, the school itself was known for stabbings, shootings, etc. It is and will always be a very high crime area. If you are not actually from Cleveland, and are looking to rent. I would never recommend moving to this area, or those lofts. EVER. Because, you wouldn't understand the mentality of the people in the area, nor the people that secure it. Better off to find a loft style apartment elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend downtown either, it's just as bad.
