Amazing site! I left WTL two years ago, but get updates whenever someone posts on aptratings. This place has clearly not changed at all.
When I lived there it was still section 8. People were breaking into apartments (someone tried to break in, but my dog scared them away) and management did NOTHING.
Once during a blizzard the fire alarm went off for 11 hours. This is not an exaggeration - 11 hours. The maintenance guy was passed out drunk and the management would not answer their phones when tenants were calling. We didn't get an apology, an explanation, nothing. They pretended like it never happened.
My car was stolen from the parking lot.
Neighborhood kids would just walk in and damage things. They went into the fitness area once and cut all the wires on the exercise machines.
People would smash the vending machines open to steal snacks.
During winter they did not remove the snow from the sidewalks or stairs.
People let their dogs go in the hallways.
I hated that place and was so happy to leave. I don't understand why people keep moving in when it has such a bad reputation.
